With Gold Rush speculations surrounding the Burrard Inlet, Grandview became a popular hub. Even though this hope for gold actually never became a reality, it still spurred much growth in the area, and by 1906, construction within this neighbourhood took on a life of its own keeping in-step with the popularity of Grandview to this day.
