ABOUT FRASERVIEW HOUSES
Fraserview is a cute community of Vancouver that sits along the northern shores of the Fraser River between Knight Street Bridge and Kerr Street and East 54th Avenue, offering many residential single-family homes to invest in. In addition to homes, Fraserview is also rich in commercial properties where diverse dining opportunities and shopping locations can be found.
With Victoria Drive running alongside Fraserview, it delivers easy access to many conveniences, and also provides easy access into and out of the area. Add to that the beauty of the natural surroundings, and you have found yourself the ideal real estate investment opportunity within Fraserview.
The Livability of Fraserview
Fraserview is largely a single-family home residential community offering a variety of multi-cultural shops and restaurants along Victoria Drive. In recent years, another area called ‘Fraserlands” has popped up in this community, bringing with it condos and townhomes, and making it a more desirable location for single business professionals looking to live on the outskirts of Vancouver, while still having easy access to the city itself.
The History of Fraserview
Like the vast majority of Vancouver, Fraserview was once First Nations land, growing into an industrial region with the Canadian Pacific Railway, and then turning into the residential community it is today.
It was a busy location for First Nations peoples at the time, offering a trail leading in and out of Vancouver into Burnaby and New Westminster.
Once Europeans began visiting to the region, around 1860, this pathway became a popular passage in and out of the city, and officially became part of the City of Vancouver in 1920.
The Future of Fraserview
As one of many suburban areas of Vancouver there is always room for growth, and although Fraserview is already largely developed, the community at large continues to see growth and new construction rise up, bringing new real estate investment opportunities to the area, and broadening the prospects for those looking to get into a home in Vancouver.
Fraserview is a great area to call home, and I would love to help walk you through this Vancouver original, providing you with a tour of available homes for sale in the area!
