CHAMPLAIN HEIGHTS HOUSES

A Vancouver neighbourhood characterized by more affordable housing

ABOUT CHAMPLAIN HEIGHTS HOUSES

Champlain Heights Houses is a Vancouver neighbourhood characterized by more affordable housing than found in other corners of the city. As one of the last areas populated in this southeastern community of Vancouver, Champlain Heights offers a variety of housing options, and has grown in popularity courtesy of it’s neighbouring uprising known as the River District.

Champlain Heights itself, borders along Boundary Road to the east, Kerr Street to the west, East 54 th Avenue to the north and the Fraser River to the south, and is easily accessible to SW Marine Drive as well as any out of town adventures you may desire to seek out in outlying areas.

The Livability of Champlain Heights

The 40-hectare Everett Crowley Park, in Champlain Heights, is the 59th largest park in the city and is home to the Earth Day Celebration each year. This celebration is sought out by locals annually, and is a Vancouver-wide favourite many years running.

In addition to great outdoor spaces such as this in which to enjoy, Champlain Heights also offers the local Champlain Heights Elementary School, providing excellent education for Grade’s 1-7.

With an easy commute into Downtown Vancouver, Champlain Heights is just one of many favourite suburban Vancouver neighbourhoods to consider investing in real estate within, and shows very well for those interested in taking a look!

The History of Champlain Heights

As mentioned, Champlain Heights is one of the last areas in Vancouver to be developed, with its uprising starting in the 1970s. Harold Kalman, a local historian, was quoted as saying “the showcase residential community was planned in the early 1970s, with curved roads and cul-de- sacs serving a mix of housing types and income levels”. Which still rings true today, and provides a nice real estate investment opportunity for many.

The Future of Champlain Heights

Being such a new community, Champlain Heights offers endless future potential for development, remodels and real estate investment opportunities. With various homes for sale including: detached single-family homes, low-rises, high-rises and townhouses, it is already known as a diverse district of Vancouver. And with the River District within easy reach also, this area has become the newest “must see” for homebuyers and investors alike, which I look forward to showing you!

EAST VANCOUVER NEIGHBOURHOODS

East Van is home to all walks of life, and offers everything from luxurious to affordable and modern to collectables. East Vancouver houses vary in builds from spacious to quaint and single families to multi families. East Van is bordered to the north by the Burrard Inlet, with the Fraser River to the south, and the city of Burnaby to the east. In addition, the community of East Van is divided by Ontario Street on the West Side of Vancouver. Which spans quite a large area and giving people a variety of real estate buying options on every corner. I am here to help you make that happen.
